What is Soap?
Soap is a substance used with water for washing and cleaning, made of a compound of natural oils or fats with sodium hydroxide or another strong alkali, and typically having perfume and coloring added.
Soap or Detergent?
Unlike the commercial soaps that you buy in the groceries and department store, handmade soap is made of natural oils mixed with sodium hydroxide. Commercial soaps don’t use word “soap” in their packaging because it doesn't really undergo saponification process which makes soap a “soap”. Commercial soaps nowadays are made from detergent ingredients to meet the demand for commercially produced soap. These ingredients claim nothing but to preserve the soap for global exports, ingredients that is absorbed by your skin and goes to your bloodstream.

Our Bamboo Charcoal Soap is cold-processed, 100% handmade with all-natural, plant-based and organic ingredients carefully blended for their healing benefit. “Activated” bamboo charcoal is pulverized and steamed, giving it a wider surface area thus, allowing it to absorb a higher volume of bacteria, toxins, and micro-particles. When in contact with water, bamboo charcoal powder releases a load of beneficial minerals, such as calcium, potassium and magnesium, creating a soothing, relaxing hot spring-water like effect.
The soap has a refreshing natural scent from pure essential oil Even the unscented bar ( fragrance-free) has subtle coconut undertones.
